"I'm getting so old my joints are starting to ache in winter."

Squall looks from his reflection in the mirror to Laguna, who is awkwardly rubbing at his shoulder. After a moment, he smiles -- a brief smile, but at least it's a smile, and Laguna puts it down as his good deed for the day. "You're not old."

"I am. Old, decrepit, obviously cradle robbing."

Laguna's arms slip round Squall's waist at that and he nuzzles, briefly, at the back of his neck. "Whatever," Squall murmurs, closing his eyes distractedly. Laguna smiles, drops a light kiss, and moves away.

"Whatever sounds about right."

"Naturally."
