Summary: Garnet told them all herself. For
madain_sari.
Garnet is kind -- going for the personal touch in telling them herself, despite the shadows of her grief clear on her face. She doesn't seem to realise that it's at all unseemly for her to be doing this -- a young queen sitting in a den of thieves and calmly, quietly telling them that one of their number is gone.
Zidane's stupid heroism. It makes Blank smile as much as anything, the way he'd do anything for anyone. Especially for someone, anyone, he perceived as a brother somehow.
He's gone. Life goes on, Garnet cries, and Blank thinks, wistfully, of brotherhood.
