For a girl living out on the rim, Kaylee really has some fine ideas about romance. Simon cuddles closer to her and smiles a little, nuzzling against her and running his fingers through her hair. The little candle flickers away cheerfully -- just one candle, since Kaylee felt bad begging some from Inara and therefore bought her own -- and he decides she looks even prettier like this, in this kind of light. He runs his hand up her side and kisses her again and she murmurs softly, pressing close to him again.

"Very," she replies, snuggling closer.
