It was exhilarating, and exhausting, and Zidane lies heavy against his back, his skin still fever-warm. It makes him smile, and keep still, so he doesn't disturb him.
Not still enough, apparently. Zidane's arm tightens around him as he shifts closer. His voice is slurred with sleep. "Blank," he says, plaintively, "go to sleep."
He bites his lip. "I will."
Zidane's lips press lightly at the back of his neck, and then he's asleep again, almost immediately.
Blank smiles.
