"You didn't need to do that," Terra says, softly, dabbing the potion carefully and thoroughly over Celes' wound -- ignoring any pain she causes, though not because of anger or anything else. She feels cold; centered. Celes risked herself for her.
Perhaps she should feel flattered. Or angry. She feels nothing except a certainty that Celes didn't need to do that.
"I wanted to."
"Still. You didn't need to."
Celes smiles a little, shifting slightly to watch Terra's careful work. "I wanted to. Because... well, because you're important to me."
Something flickers to life in Terra at that, and she smiles, too. "Well... thank you."
