"You look exhausted," he tells Kain, bluntly, when he ducks out of the tent, leaving the others inside to get some rest. "I'll take a watch if you insist on having someone keeping a lookout."
"I don't need to sleep."
Cecil snorts softly, moving to stand next to Kain and glancing about at the land around them. "I don't even see what threat there is."
"Monsters."
"Then let me watch."
"You should rest."
Cecil sighs, putting his hand on Kain's arm and gripping tightly. He looks up, sincere, concerned. "So should you. Don't say you don't need to or don't deserve to or whatever. Just get some rest."
