Tifa appreciates Cid's bluntness, but hides her smiles at his cursing, chiding him gently once in a while when there are children about. He's easy to read and easy to talk to, and she likes his brash attitude more she thinks she should let on.
He's surprisingly gentle with her when she needs it, when she needs someone to talk to and he's the only one around, and oddly enough he becomes less of a last resort, over time.
When he kisses her, awkwardly gentle and characteristically direct, she responds warmly, wrapping her arms around his neck, letting him crush her close.
