Summary: Zidane is a good person, but flighty.
Garnet has come to realise after a while that, faithful and good as he is, Zidane is a little too flighty to love just her. She tells herself it's alright, and hides the pain, and lets his easy smile lie to her when they're alone. She passes over his looks at Blank, when Blank is around, and tells herself there is no threat, no reason for her smiles to fade. Zidane, after all, loves her, and would never do anything to hurt her. He's just -- himself. He can't tie himself down and she appreciates that, and tries to forgive.
