"There're too many of you," he says, the minute he gets lucid enough to talk without being aware enough to focus properly. He can see all the millions of Simons smiling in amusement and then Simon injects him with something that makes him feel a little more aware, and brings the number of him down to two.
Simon gives him a moment, then, cleaning things away and taking off a pair of white gloves, leaning over him after a moment to speak, "Are you alright?"
"Happy as a clam," Wash assures him, and hiccups, "did I get drunk or something?"
The doc shakes his head, laughing softly and putting a hand on his shoulder, pushing him down a little as he answers absently, "No, you had a little run in with some local drugs, you'll be fine soon."
