Meep! cliffhanger!

*eagerly awaiting the next chapter*

One thing I really like is how Squall is so numb he can't even really be angry that Laguna's his father, can't be angry about the murder yet because he hasn't allowed himself to really grieve. Most people would want the peace of a village like Winhill to grieve and heal, but Squall wants to fight. I think that says a lot about him in very few words, and is very nicely done. ♥
