Summary: Messages from Djose to Bevelle.
"Praetor!"
Baralai turned, surprised to see someone running towards him, towards the front of the temple. It was an Al Bhed -- which wasn't too surprising, perhaps, now, with everyone at peace, but Bevelle was still Bevelle, the stronghold of New Yevon.
"Tu oui cbayg Al Bhed?"
He shook his head, a little embarrassed that he didn't understand, though there was no real reason for him to know Al Bhed. "I'm sorry, I don't speak Al Bhed..."
"Okay," the guy said, looking a little less sure of himself. He held out a sphere to Baralai, nodding slightly to him to tell him to take it. "From Gippal."
Baralai took it, looking down at it in some confusion. Despite their previous relationship and the fact that pretty much all of Spira had come together and unified, he and Gippal had barely spoken in years. "Thank you," he said to the Al Bhed, who nodded, waved a hand, and set off running the other way.
Baralai went inside. He didn't watch the sphere at first, but later, when everyone was in bed.
In the morning, their praetor was gone. A messenger came a few days later with an apology, a resignation, and the information that Baralai was now in Djose.
