Sometimes when Terra gets tired the spells scrape out, come from her hands reluctant and sore, cure spells and fire spells and summons, all of it is hard, so hard, and she's sucked dry. It's hard now, and she's almost on her knees with it, and Locke gives her a concerned look and Celes smiles. Not condescendingly. Just a smile, that's all, and it means nothing and everything; it brings the magic out of her, lifts her heart inside her and brings a cure spell for Celes out of her hands, and a fire of some new strength to burn.
