Terra pulls back slowly, wetting her lips carefully and opening her eyes; glancing up into Celes' eyes and then down to the floor, biting her lip. "Was that...?"
Celes looks at her for a minute, the way her hair tumbles into her face and the anxious smile hovering on her lips, the way her fists are clenched, careful and nervous. The way she takes a deep breath and the way it hitches on the way in, the anxious glances darting up to Celes' face and darting away.
Very carefully, Celes moves closer, threading her fingers through Terra's hair, and kisses her again.
