Rydia's always been a lucky girl. When she loses, she finds. When she was little she had a wonderful mother, a wonderful home, and the magic came easy and wonderful from her hands, without effort. She lost her mother and found Cecil, and then she lost him to find a home with the summon monsters.
She always finds.
So when she can't -- daren't -- go back to her home with the creatures she can call, she finds Edge. Sure, he's a flirt and a little bit of a rogue, but --
But she finds she likes that, when all's said and done.
