"Is it right, Edmund?"
Peter sits by the window, like he did in Narnia. It's cold, the blackout drapes flapping a little in the breeze that searches out warmth like an ice spell. Like the winter of Narnia, like the war.
"Is what right?"
"The war. In Narnia, wars... I knew when they were right and when they were wrong, when to stop something and when to press the point. Now..."
"You were king, in Narnia, here you have no power," Edmund reminds him -- as if he needs reminding of what they've lost.
"No power," Peter agrees, his words musing, and keeps wondering, silently.
