Simon Tam seems immune to being seduced and that's a puzzle to Kaylee and no mistake. Sure he's rich, and refined, but that hasn't been a barrier to others Kaylee's been with. She gets herself all prettied up for him and he barely ever notices. He takes more notice of her when she's hot and sweaty from fixing Serenity's engine and there's oil on her face or something.
