It's not anything new, just an extension of what was there before, even though it's supposedly in the name of information and sorceresses and spoilt 'princesses'. It's as harsh and bruising as their fights were and there are red angry marks where Seifer gripped Squall's hips so tightly and fucked him so hard and fast, marks that won't fade quickly. It was supposed to be torture, supposed to be humiliating, but Seifer bears as many marks as Squall and both of them enjoyed it. It was just another battlefield and like their fights, it'll happen again, beyond the torture chamber.
