Summary: Giving to gain.
Braska was all about the sacrifice. All about giving to gain, but he never thought that in giving -- comfort, release, a sharing of warmth -- that for once he'd be the one to gain. It comes too late, just a last bittersweet taste, but he has them, Jecht and Auron, who'll be there with him through anything. He can trust them not to fade, can trust them to be there, warm against him when he wakes and when he sleeps. They'll give with him, too, give up and give in for a child's smiles in Bevelle.
