"What's wrong with you now?"

Seifer reached up to adjust his bandages, trying not to seem like he was sulking, trying to ignore his own blindness. "Nothing."

"Shit... Seifer, you're not...?"

"I'm fine."

Zell huffed softly and put a hand on Seifer's shoulder. "You know... I know you think you're helpless and all, but I bet I'm going to have a black eye in the morning."

"Still have to walk with my hand on prettyboy's shoulder."

"So?"

"So I'm useless."

"You know..." Zell bit his lip a little. "Squall seems happier now you're back than I've seen him in a long time. Just think about that, 'kay?"

He did.
