Tucked away in a corner of the Dawn Treader, Caspian can watch Edmund and Lucy comfortably. He'd hate for them to see him, since he's almost intruding, longing to join their little family bond and be accepted. Because that was what he never had -- a real family, true playmates, people to confide in and to be with. He desperately wishes that Lucy was his sister -- and Edmund his brother -- so he could know their easy relationship with each other, know Lucy's smile as her brother rather than a simple friend, however near and dear he truly was.
