Squall isn't helpless. Not really. He's raw power beneath the skin, in his muscles and bones and every cell in every part of him, his heart strong and quick and relentless, tugging him along in a rhythm of life. But he sits back to take it from Seifer, pretends to be helpless and moans and cries out at Seifer's every command. He's learned to take it like this, to make Seifer happy, to keep Seifer smirking and coming back for more.
He could kick Seifer's ass and take what he really needs, but at the same time he's too deep into the role of submissive for Seifer that to break character now would break more than just character and time honoured conditions between them. He's used to letting Seifer get what he wants and never getting what he wants, not all of it, anyway, but enough to keep him there, tasting what he so desperately needs and wants and not getting it all.
It's a learned reaction, like ducks swimming up to the edge of the lake expecting bread, and it's as pitiful and pathetic as the girl who cringes from her mother's every touch because of prior abuse. It's a surrender of self and hard earned strength and Squall is vaguely satisfied by it, and Seifer smirks, his hands tight on Squall's hips.
Even when there's Rinoa, he still doesn't change. Lets Seifer take what he wants, lets him take everything away; including Rinoa when she finds out and doesn't understand that Squall is trapped. It's natural, now, to give to Seifer, so he gives and keeps on giving.
And Seifer has learnt to be satisfied with taking, because he forced it to be that way, and Squall can't accept any more, he just gives, gives and takes the little satisfaction that brings.
