Edge is surprised when she sits down next to him and asks for a drink, but he doesn't argue. She's a big girl, after all -- a little more mature than she was even just the last time he saw her.
He'll never get used to that.
It somehow goes from there to a quiet room in the inn and her under him, and in the morning all he remembers is the taste of alcohol in her mouth and the silky-soft of her hair against his skin and wrapped around his fingers.
Whenever he drinks he thinks of her, after, wherever she is.
