stories_100.
The trip back to Ramandu and his beautiful daughter is boring and painful. The worst of it is missing Lucy. He loved having her to talk to about the old times and especially Aslan, because she had lived them and loved them so very much.
(Edmund and Eustace were all very well, but Edmund hadn't Lucy's imagination and in his best moods Eustace was rather unapproachable, not to mention that he hadn't seen Old Narnia.)
Caspian knows he'll sail away the ache. But for now he rather wishes he could marry Lucy (and go to her world) rather than marry Ramandu's daughter.
