Rydia had a headache and a small toddler yelling at her while she tried to stop an even smaller toddler crying his eyes out. She was sure they'd got it from Edge -- this idea that they were the center of the universe and deserved attention right now.
She was fairly sure Edge deserved some kind of punishment for that.
But she was fairly sure he was also some kind of wonderful angel when he arrived to tousle the older kid's hair and take the younger kid and rock him to sleep and generally stop the noise.
Thank goodness for small favours, really.
