Summary: Squall has the knack of ignoring social niceties. For
30_friends.
If there was one thing Squall was good for, it was absolutely brutal honesty. He didn't get the social niceties like white lies. In fact, he pretty much considered it his duty to tell a friend if they were doing stupid. In Zell's case, he spoke up pretty often. When it came to Selphie and clothes, Squall had learned not to intervene -- she had her own style, she insisted -- but when Zell was running around looking like an idiot, Squall said so. Not that Zell always agreed, or always listened. But he said it, and Zell was grateful.
