"Mmm."
Kaylee elbowed him gently. "Hey. Listen to me, mister."
"Oh, sorry, I..."
Kaylee huffs and leans over him, kissing him softly and wrapping her arms around him to tug him closer. "You were thinkin'. Always thinkin', always worryin'. Forget it for now, Simon."
It's kind of hard to think, anyway, with Kaylee being all distracting, so Simon lets her distract him from thoughts of the infirmary stocks and worries about River. They both get sunburns and Kaylee has some interesting grass stains by the end of the day.
