She was kinda cute when she was asleep, Edge found. Scrunched up tight in a little ball like a kid who'd never grown out of the habit. Okay, not just kinda cute. Very cute. And kind of vulnerable. Delicate as she never appeared when she was awake. When she was awake she was all fire and passion and repulsing his advances with eyes that saw right through any charming he tried to do. He liked her both ways, really. Asleep and harmless, awake and full of fire. And he was absolutely sure of just one thing.
