Silence, when it came to Rydia, could be very comfortable. Easy silence. A friendly, relaxing silence. Or it could be hair raisingly scary silence that told you she was pissed off. She carried both off wonderfully. Edge liked the former rather than the latter, usually.
He had a feeling he was in trouble and it was the second kind. She was staring at him, arms crossed in front of her.
Suddenly, she got up, crossed the room to him, leaned down and kissed him. Hard. Eagerly. Her hands in his hair.
A new kind of silence, then.
Sexually charged silence.
Edge definitely liked this one.
