Summary: Beatrix knows things are going wrong, but she stays beside Brahne anyway.
Beatrix sort of senses when things go a little bit pear-shaped, but she's sworn to the Queen and she'll do what she can to obey her orders for as long as she can. She's not quite sure when Brahne will cross a line with her, but there's a place inside her that responds to what Brahne wants to do with fierce patriotism and pride.
And if she leads Alexandria, second to practically none, then she'll go down in history as the warrior woman she wants to be remembered as.
