Squall shrugged. Seifer bristle, but he couldn't really do much, all things considered. There wasn't a rule about having to speak to the Disciplinary Committee. Yet. He turned on his heel, expecting Raijin and Fujin to fall in and follow.
Fujin hesitated. "SORRY."
"It's nothing. You follow Seifer, he considers me his rival..." Squall shrugged again. "I don't blame you."
She wanted to tell him he should, that it was unfair, that it had always been unfair. But he didn't say a word more, just waited for her to go, as Seifer waited for her to follow. She sighed at the way men always have to draw lines and make walls and fight over them. If Seifer and Squall didn't always fight...
"CAREFUL."
She wasn't sure if she was warning or threatening. Maybe both.
She turned her back.
