Quistis had thought Squall would care more about Laguna's death, considering all they were to each other, but it doesn't surprise her too much to see him standing by the grave with his expression blank as a white theatre mask. She doesn't try to comfort him, but she keeps an eye on him.
He slips further and further into apathy every day. They'd thought him apathetic before, but now they know that he was just cool and distant back then. Now he's blank and empty.
