Heero plays with the length of string, twisting it into new shapes, as quick and skilled at that as with computers and Gundams. Wufei watches him, a little confused, but not asking, not interrupting, a little amused by the look of concentration on Heero's face.
"Cat's cradle," Heero said, softly. "Two player game. Can't do much of it on my own. A kid taught me it."
That's it, info dump and then he doesn't say anymore, but Wufei shuffles closer and joins in.
It's not snatching at the remains of childhood or anything like that. It's cradling the last bits of precious innocence.
